Running ads with AI · Playbook

A small-budget method: one offer, one audience, briefs an agent can draft, and a weekly read of results. You keep the budget.

This playbook is for someone spending their own money on ads and wanting help with briefs, variations, and a Monday readout. It is explicit about the jobs an agent should not do: raising budgets, inventing claims, or routing around a platform rule.

You will name the offer, write what you are allowed to say, set a test you can afford to lose, and read results after they have had time to mean something. The playbook does not promise a CPA, a ROAS, or a winning creative.

Platform policies change, and some settings, including which conversion action is primary in Google Ads, are still configured in the ads interface rather than by a prompt.

Keep the budget

An agent can draft ten angles from an offer you wrote. It should not be the thing that turns spend up because yesterday looked good. Yesterday is often noise, especially on a small budget.

Write the offer, the audience, the claim you can prove, and the amount you can lose. Then let a model propose lines inside that box. The playbook is the box, plus a weekly page for reading results without inventing a story.
