Making music with AI · Playbook

A release workflow for music made with AI tools: briefs, edits, rights, credits, and metadata. Streams are not promised.

This playbook walks from a song brief to a file you are willing to distribute. It treats rights, voice, likeness, and collaborator credit as part of the work, not as paperwork after a viral moment that may never come.

AI tools can draft ideas and variations. They do not give you a famous voice, a sample clearance, or a distributor's approval. The playbook says when to stop and get permission, and when a track should stay private.

No income, playlist, or stream count is promised.

What is included

  • PDF from brief to master, including a rights pause
  • Credit and metadata notes for a single release
  • A list of uses that need permission you may not have
  • Personal license inside the file

Free preview

The rest of the file is delivered after purchase. This page does not include it.

Permission is part of the song

If the track imitates a living artist's voice, uses a melody you do not own, or drops in a recording you did not clear, it is not ready to upload. Generate another direction or get the permission in writing. A model saying "this is original" is not clearance.

The playbook is the rest of the path: brief, edits you can hear, credits, metadata, and a release date you can move.
