Dropshipping with AI · Playbook

How to test a product idea with unit economics, supplier questions, and a go or no-go score before you spend on ads.

Dropshipping looks fast because the photos are already done. The slow part is finding out whether a product can clear fees, shipping, returns, and a modest ad cost. This playbook is that slow part, written so an agent can help you gather notes without inventing demand.

You get a worksheet for one product at a time, the questions worth asking a supplier, and a score that is allowed to say no. Most tests should say no. That is not pessimism. It is how you avoid a store full of products you cannot fulfill honestly.

Nothing here is a promise of sales, a winning product, or a supplier who ships when they say they will.

The only number that matters first

Before you write a listing, write this down for one product:

Price you believe a stranger will pay, minus product cost, shipping you eat, payment fees, a return allowance, and a test ad budget you can afford to lose. If that remainder is negative or nearly zero before you have bought a single click, the product is a no. An agent can format the sheet. It cannot make the remainder positive by sounding excited.

The full playbook is the rest of that sheet, plus the supplier questions and the claims you should not put on the page.
