Running a business with AI · Code template
A small Node starter that sorts sample support mail into intent, urgency, and a draft reply. It does not send email.

This is a working starter, not a hosted product. You run it on your machine with your own API key. It reads a JSON file of messages and asks a model to label intent, urgency, and whether a human should take it. The sample file is fake on purpose.
Nothing is sent to a customer. There is an offline mode that prints a local preview without calling a model, so you can see the shape before you spend a cent on tokens.
You still have to review anything you later adapt to a real inbox. The script will not know your refund policy unless you put it in the prompt, and you should.
What is included
- Node script using the AI SDK and an OpenAI-compatible key from the environment
- Sample inbox JSON, README, and .env.example
- An --offline mode that does not call a model
- Personal license as LICENSE.txt in the zip

The rest of the file is delivered after purchase. This page does not include it.
What the starter does
You get a Node script and a fake inbox of five messages. With --offline it prints which of those messages look like they need a person, using a local keyword check. With an API key it asks a model for intent, urgency, a needs-human flag, and a draft reply.
The system prompt tells the model not to invent order numbers, refunds, or policies. The script prints the result. It has no code path that sends mail.
The sample messages, the exact prompt, and the run steps are in the download.
